LivWell’s Mental Health Department is committed to providing comprehensive, accessible services for individuals living with HIV. Our approach focuses on supporting each client’s personal goals for health and well-being while promoting emotional wellness and stability.

LivWell’s team includes a full-time Mental Health Registered Nurse and a fully licensed professional counselor, ensuring clients have access to knowledgeable and compassionate mental health support.

Services Include

• Annual mental health screening
• Comprehensive mental health and substance use evaluations
• Diagnosis and treatment planning
• Individual, family, and group counseling
• Referrals to outside providers and treatment specialists, including psychiatrists, detoxification services, community support programs, treatment centers, and neuropsychological assessments
• Care coordination with healthcare providers and supportive services both within and outside the LivWell clinic
• Psychoeducational sessions
• SMART Recovery support meetings

SMART Recovery

LivWell hosts weekly SMART Recovery meetings for clients seeking a science-based, self-empowered approach to addiction recovery. These meetings support individuals working toward recovery from any type of addiction.
